The Natural Approach Staff
Dr. Laura Vasallo
Have you ever been told that there is nothing wrong with you or that nothing else can be done to help you feel better?
Arriving in the Land of Plenty (United States) from Cuba at the age of 8, Dr. Laura Vasallo did what most young people do and she started to eat all the yummy stuff. This poor diet led to feeling frustrated and an unhealthy lifestyle, which led to many visits to traditional medicine doctors for pills and antibiotics as the answer. Noticing that she was not the only one with these frustrations and struggles Dr. Laura knew something had to change but was not quite sure what.
Never a person to shy away from life, she enrolled into one of the oldest and top institutes for acupuncture and oriental medicine in Florida and at the age of 24, she became a Doctor of Oriental Medicine. At the same time, Dr. Laura also studied and earned her Massage Therapy License, became a Bach Flower Practitioner and is now a health coach.
Practicing what she preaches since 2000, Dr. Laura has become a compassionate and dedicated physician who strives to bring back the tradition of the caring healer, one who knows and understands their patient, not just their disorders because as she believes “The aim of the treatments, in addition to relieving the main symptom, is to restore overall harmony and health to the individual.
Visit her Wellness Center and let her extensive experience work for you.

Kimberly Anderson, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Hello, my name is Kim and I look forward to meeting you as your massage therapist. I’m from the Merritt Island area, a Florida native, and a member of the Natural Approach family of providers. I have over 19 years of experience in massage therapy in different techniques. I trained locally at Space Coast Health Institute and enjoy doing deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy technique, myofascial release, micro-current therapy, as well as hot stone massage. Even with years of experience, I am open and always learning new modalities to enhance my massage therapy practice. I am also a facial specialist (since 2013) as an added bonus for clients who wish to increase their relaxation and rejuvenate their skin. In my spare time, I enjoy photography and spending time in nature.
Jessica Smith, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
I am a graduate of Florida School of Massage (FSM) in Gainesville Fl. as of Sept.2013. Me and my family of 7 total (5 kids ages 16,10,4 and twin boys who will be 2 in Dec.) along with my husband of 13 years, just moved to my hometown here in Palm Bay Fl. at the beginning of 2019. I have recently met Dr. Laura and staff here at the Natural Approach Wellness Center and immediately felt ease and comfort with them. I am looking forward to receiving, and understanding more about acupuncture, as well as the other wellness services offered through this wonderful office. My goal is to bring with my LMT experience pain relief, balance and peace for the mind, body, soul and clarity for all my clients. My bodywork offers an incorporation of intuitive massage with deep tissue and Swedish flow also bringing in some Thai/yoga stretching. All combined I believe with regular sessions, massage will help the body to better heal itself though injury and daily life stressors. As we strive for balance, pain free and a peaceful feeling of wellness. There are many blessings in life that may be shared, I hope to share some of mine with you!

Hello, my name is Gabryella. I was born here in Florida, in South Miami. My family and I lived in Orlando when I was in grade school, and then to Palm Bay where I graduated from Bayside High School. I just started working with Dr. Laura in September 2020 at the front desk. I instantly fell in love with the office and the happiness surrounding it. I admire Dr. Laura and her natural approach to all aspects of life. Everyone who I’ve come in contact with here at the office, whether it be co-workers or patients, have made me feel extremely welcome. I am currently in training to become a birthing doula, however that is going to be put on hold because I am expecting my first child in March of 2021. Working with Dr. Laura has opened a new door for me where I have decided to finish my degree in Medical Assistance at Eastern Florida State College. I look forward to learning more here at Natural Approach Wellness Center and seeing more new faces come through our doors.
Hi there! My name is Sabina and I am truly thankful to be a part of our wonderful team at Natural Approach! My husband and I grew up locally in Brevard and we are now raising our daughters here. I come from a background in grocery retail management, a career that I never found a sense of fulfillment in. I have been a long term family caregiver and was also a CNA for a season, cut short due to my high risk twin pregnancy. I have been searching for an occupation that provides the sense of purpose I have been missing, not just a job, and I am grateful to have found it. I am loving the peaceful, positive environment and knowing we are helping our patients to heal, to reduce pain, and reduce stress. I have personally experienced the benefits and relaxation from massage and acupuncture, and I know Dr. Laura can help you too. I sincerely look forward to meeting you and contributing to your health and wellness!
